  2. Determine bracket mounting surface areas. The following minimum areas are required for mounting your door:

    Brackets – Minimum:

    C (header bracket width) = 4" (steel, masonry, or wood)

    D (header bracket height) = 71/2" (9" for doors 9'–10' high)

    E (guide width) = 4" (each side for wood/masonry jambs)
    2 1/2" (for steel)
  3. Determine clearance areas. Refer to the height chart below for minimum areas required for your door to operate correctly.

1. Attach brackets and guides to the preassembled barrel.

2. Lift door in place and fasten bracket to the frame. Tension door, cut bands and attach door stops.
3. Install lift handles and rope and you’re done!
   
Roll-Up Door Information To Know
  1. Tubular 15/16" live shaft axle.
  2. 26-gauge, hot-dipped galvanized steel curtain provides rust resistance.
  3. 18-gauge, hot-dipped steel guides for strength and rust protection.
  4. Self-lubricating polypropylene wear strips on outside of curtain prevent
    metal-to-metal contact.
